Information, not a booking contract
Rooms and prices are shown on the external property or booking website. Any reservation is made with that provider under its own terms. Our terms and commercial disclosures explain the limits of the guide and how future advertising will be labeled.
Why company details are still needed
A website does not need to sell rooms itself for company-disclosure rules to apply. An Italian limited company has disclosure duties for its public website. A business-funded or advertising-funded information service may also be covered by information-society service rules.
Our design keeps the company name in the footer rather than in the main travel content. The information itself must remain easy to find. The supplied Italian VAT number appears in the shared footer, including on the homepage.
- Italian Civil Code, article 2250: company office, register details, paid-up capital, and applicable sole-member or liquidation information; the rule extends to a company’s public electronic space.
- Legislative Decree 70/2003, article 7: service-provider identity, address, direct contact details including email, register or REA information, and VAT identification where applicable.
- Presidential Decree 633/1972, article 35(1): the VAT number must be indicated on the homepage of the taxpayer’s website.
