Offer three local price bands and show checked examples by area. Always say which currency, dates and room type a price refers to. Never pass an old example off as a live offer.
Help families, couples and people traveling for work find useful options. Explain the facilities behind each tag, and what you still need to ask the property.
Use real area photographs and maps, not only text. Credit the photographer and label the place. A city photograph must not pretend to show a hotel or its view.
Use clear language, large text and useful controls. Link to sources, date the research and admit what is missing. Add languages only after their translations have been checked.
Keep the guides free to read. Clearly disclose affiliate links and paid placements when they are used. Payment must not change a guest score or hide an important limitation. Let people read without optional tracking.
Our first English guides cover Rome, Berlin and Athens. They include nine named properties, dated guest scores and room-price examples, trip-type filters and photographs of the areas.
That is a starting point, not complete European coverage. We have not inspected the hotels, reviewed every guest comment or published other languages. Prices and availability must still be checked for your own trip.
We plan to fund the guide through clearly disclosed affiliate links and separate paid placements. A booking made through an approved affiliate link may earn a commission. An ordinary external link does not mean we have a partnership. We do not take room payments or promise a booking.
Optional statistics help us understand which guides and links are useful. Reading a guide should never depend on agreeing to that tracking. See your privacy choices.
These goals apply to every guide. The details—sources, ratings, prices, advertising and corrections—belong in our editorial method. If we fall short, tell us what needs correcting.
