Named accommodation leads and area trade-offs from dated Wikivoyage articles; these are not independently checked current hotels, ratings or prices.

Where to sleep in Zagreb

Compare the Britanski trg approach for a social backpacker stay with the city-centre Chillout listing, or Ivana Rendića for a different tram-based return. Check the building identity: the source gives similar-looking street addresses for two separately named businesses, not proof they are one property.

Where to sleep in Split

Choose the station-to-old-town corridor for a ferry or bus-led stop, or inside the walls if historic streets matter more. For scattered units, demand the exact address before paying. A promise of sociability would be misleading when the source itself says one operator lacks a communal space.

Where to sleep in Dubrovnik

Choose Lapad if the beach-side neighbourhood is part of your trip, Gruž for a port-oriented base with an uphill approach, or Babin Kuk for camping. Compare the return to the Old Town rather than assuming a private room offered at a station is conveniently located.

Each of the three researched city guides may have one model-reviewed edition. This is not a translated website; shared navigation and legal information remain English. An edition is withdrawn whenever its English source binding is stale.
